This is gonna be my new style for KDE. It's about 75% done and I already love it :D Though before releasing it I wanna see what you think about it and if you have any suggestions to improve it :)

Distro: Arch GNU/Linux
DE: KDE 4.7 RC1
Widget Style: QtCurve
Plasma Theme: Fushigi
Icons: Faenza (Colorized)

As always download or save the image for a sharp preview.

UPDATE:
Some little changes and improvements; darkened toolbar bg, added bottom border (is it better?), a brighter green for progress-bar, minor changes in the windeco, tabs and ....

Be well

Hey, have you released this qtcurve/colorscheme config? I can't find it in your gallery.

No, if you want it send me a note containing your email and I'd send it to you.
Also you need to make your desktop look like the shot as much as possible or it may not look as nice :)

do you know of anything like it for vista?

Thank you

Well, although I like Windows too, there's a huge gap between Windows and GNU/Linux in terms of flexibility and easiness of changing the appearance.

I don't know of any style like mine for Vista ;)

Any tips for a newbie to linux?

Yeah, why not?! GNU/Linux is AWESOME and absolutely FREE (free as FSF's free software definition: [link])

You should first decide what desktop environment (DE) or window manager (WM) you prefer, the most popular ones are KDE and Gnome.

For KDE I suggest you to start with OpenSUSE or maybe Kubuntu and for Gnome I recommend Linux Mint.

For a newbie KDE is more confusing because of the amount of options, details and settings (actually that's one of KDE's strength points).

Go explore for yourself and have some fun :D
